Darcie is a 2019 graduate from the California State University, Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is proud to have graduated Sigma Cum Laude and maintains her membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She also received the Dean’s Award for academic excellence.
While serving as the Community Chair for the Student Nurses Association, she organized events and volunteers both on and off campus. She collaborated with: Safe Kids Stanislaus, Doctors Medical Center, Memorial Medical Center, the American Heart Association, the Science Department at CSU Stanislaus, and Nu Alpha Kappa fraternity.
Additionally, Darcie has thirteen years of medical experience in the operating room as a surgical technologist and maintains her National Certification as a Surgical Technologist. In 2016, she graduated with honors from Merced College with an Associates Degree in Health Sciences. Prior to nursing school, Darcie has volunteered with the American Red Cross and served as a board member for the California State Assembly for the Association of Surgical Technologists.
